We want our students to meet their goals
and for those on pathway we want them to meet their English entry requirements.
Discover English has
introduced a new policy with regards to its pathway students. These students
are made an appointment with Janine, the academic manager when they commence
their EAP course. She explains what is required of them and that they must
achieve at least 65% overall in their assessment in order to receive a letter
of recommendation for their future course. Students have the chance to talk
over any problems they anticipate they'll have and discuss study strategies.
They are encouraged to come back at the end of each assessment period to
discuss their progress. Discover English feels this is another way to keep
students on track with their studies and ensure they achieve their goals.
